Extensive Homeowners Insurance Policies

Every year, more drivers hit America’s roads. As this number increases, the chances of a car collision will also go up. Automobile insurance can be the difference between a minor inconvenience and a major hassle. So how can you figure out which type of insurance you need and how much to buy? Car accidents can lead to many different expenses, which your car insurance can pay for based on the insurance policy you have purchased. Electing to drive without insurance could cause you to repair or replace a stolen or damaged vehicle or pay the cost of any damage that you may have caused. Liability: Liability pays for damages due to personal injury and damage to property when you are responsible. Damages from bodily injury include medical fees, lost wages, and pain and suffering. Property damage can refer to car repair costs or loss of use of property. If you are sued, liability insurance will pay for your legal fees. Recommended, higher levels of liability insurance can be purchased that cover more events than the stripped-down, state-mandated varieties. Personal Injury Protection: This is mandated in some states and is optional in others. It pays you or your passengers for medical treatment resulting from a crash, regardless of who may have been at fault, and is often called no-fault coverage. The minimum amount of this insurance is typically set by the state. Medical Payments: Medical payment coverage is available in states that are not considered no-fault and will pay no matter who is responsible for the accident. All reasonable medical or funeral expenses will be covered under this insurance coverage. Collision: Pays for damage to your car caused by an accident. Comprehensive: This applies if your car is stolen or damaged by causes other than a collision, including weather damage or vandalism. Uninsured Motorist: Thousands of drivers are ignoring the law by driving a car without purchasing the proper amount of insurance. This insurance will cover you if you are in an accident with one of these drivers. Under-Insured Motorist: There are other drivers who have liability insurance that can’t pay for all the expenses they are supposed to take care of. Under-insured motorist coverage protects you in accidents involving those drivers. Emergency road service, car rental, and other types of coverage can also be purchased. Motorcycle Insurance 24557
